Barbi Glass Kiser of Safety Harbor shared this photo from the first Earth Day celebration on April 22, 1970, in Washington, D.C. She was 16 at the time and attended the event with some high school friends. She recalls watching the Chambers Brothers perform and then seeking refuge from the crowds.
